AGENT-NATIVE TASK QUEUE

Your agents pick up the work. You decide when they run.

Shepherd is a terminal board backed by plain markdown files. drover watches GitHub, Sentry and webhooks, parks each event as a held task, and runs your coding agent only when you release it.

Pro keeps that loop running when your laptop is closed, and lets you approve tasks from your phone.

Sense, park, release

Nothing runs until a human says go. The board is the queue, the gate and the audit log, and it's all markdown you can read, diff and commit.

01 · sense

Events come in

A merged PR, a new Sentry error, any webhook. Each source is a config row, not a plugin to write.

02 · park

Tasks wait on the board

Every event becomes one held task with its context attached, in plain markdown your agents can read through the CLI.

03 · release

You say go

Flip a task from hold to go and the action's runner starts. With Pro, do it from a push notification on your phone.

The CLI stays free. Pro pays for the servers.

Everything local stays in the open-source CLI. You pay for what needs a server: sync, hosted sources, hosted runs and approvals on the go.

Questions

Does the CLI stay open source?

Yes. The Shepherd CLI and its local board stay free, and local features never move behind the paywall.

Is this another todo app?

No. Tasks are written through the CLI and command API, by you or your agents. The web and phone views are for watching and approving, not a second place to edit.

Who pays for the model tokens?

You bring your own model API key on every plan, so you pay your provider directly and we never mark up tokens.

Where is my data stored?

On Free, only on your machine. With Pro, you choose Australia, the US or the EU when you sign up, and your boards stay in that region. Sync is end-to-end encrypted: files are encrypted on your devices before upload, so our servers only ever hold data we can't read.

What do you keep from this waitlist?

Your email address and the date you joined, nothing else. We use it to email you once when Pro opens, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
